Enigmatic visionary Ghostly Beard pens emotive prog-pop. From the vaults of his prismatic artistry, he issues a clutch of EPs and albums. Read my album review of "Infinite" on chatsong, listen to their songs and give votes and comments underneath this review.

The story goes that Ghostly Beard is a virtuoso singer, songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist who recently came out of a 15-year musical retirement. Since emerging in 2013, he has written an eclectic body of music more than 40-songs strong.

The man behind the music is Patrick Talbot. Talbot grew up a hotshot guitarist with an effortless command of the instrument and fluidity in a variety of genres. Domestic responsibilities and the demands of making a living sidelined him. However, a series of events—both painful and liberating—have enabled him to reunite with his true love for a second chance.

Ghostly Beard’s music offers an immersive emotionality that can appear enigmatic. Beneath its dreaminess is themes of absence, yearning for the past, regret, and hope. Also penetrating what could seem like Ghostly Beard’s icy veneer of anonymity is the love for his daughter. “Something changed for me when I became a father. Even if I am something of a loner in this world, she is there to ground me,” Talbot shares.

Select highlights on his upcoming EP, Infinite, include “Close Your Eyes,” “Frozen in Time,” and “No Return.” This five-track release opens with wistful folk on “Close Your Eyes” which soon morphs into a multi-textured, hauntingly beautiful epic brimming with longing and exquisite melodies, and a positively David Gilmour-esque teardrop guitar solo. The ethereal “Frozen in Time” is delicately majestic with airy vocals, subtle chops-y melodic flourishes, and space themed existential lyrics. The detached ambient elegance of “No Return” offers listeners a chance to vibe out and set out on an inward journey.

This is Ghostly beard and has just released an album called " Infinite" when I  started to read his biography which can be found at his website I got touched by the story behind his music and drive to make music.

Then now my album review, the first single  I will review is " Close your eyes"  it starts with a beautiful acoustic rhythmic guitar sound, then you hear a vocal with emotions the lyrics he wrote and sings comes over and hits you in your heart. I really love this song, the tunes they used looks like a movie tune and very nice up building and a lovely electric guitar solo in it. It keeps you fascinated listening, beautifully done this song. This song is so heartbreaking with all those amazing sounds, it can easily become a well know it. He is maybe not the best vocal singer, but he certainly can sing.

Then there is " Frozen time" The intro is lovely very melodic and dramatic, the music grabs you and takes you in control while you listen to his sounds and voice. In this song, he sings calmer and lower which suits him a bit more, it has some vibes from the early years blues and jazz with very low and catchy vocals. I feel what he has felt when he sings the lyrics, very good produced the higher notes has some slightly minor slip outs. But in this music worlds, there are tons who sing notes which they not entirely reach. And that does not mean they don't have a talent or can make amazing songs.

Next single on the Album is " No return" and again such a wonderful intro, he is very talented in creating varied intro sounds he should apply for movie themes and for series background music! Like I said he is maybe not the best vocal singer there is, but his music is one of the best ambient progressive pop songs I ever have heard. And because of the beautiful sounds and tunes and lyrics, it totally flushes out of your memory and you totally enjoy his music with your whole mind and body.

This song " limitless" has a different intro more ambient rock, but I love the background voices he has done. And once again the lyrics and tunes crawl in your mind,  He is a very good composer and songwriter and multi instrumentalist. The solo guitar piece is freaky wonderful, I really enjoy it.

I am at the latest single from the album it is named " Winter Dance" And like I wrote before when you listen to the intro then you know why I told this is perfect music for themes, movies and series it is well done composed. And I am sure when movie and series makers from Hollywood when they listen his album will be thrilled to have this inside their production.

This versatile emotionally artist with his amazing album has to be heard and shared and picked up by many radio stations, and fans of ambient rock and pop. Also, I hope his music will be heard soon in a movie, series or anything related. Therefore share this talented composer and singer-songwriter as much as you can.
