Introduction:

Abstract lines, furious phrases, sometimes shrill and euphoric, sometimes cryptic and dark - the interface of the band mozaik is Jazz. Influences come from Soul, Hip Hop, rock and fusion

Mozaik are: Anna-Lucia Rupp (voc), Georg Wiede (sax), Jannik Kerkhof (drums), Mikolaj Suchanek (piano) and Jonas Mielke (bass).
They met in 2014 by studying at the Academy of Music in Dresden.
Opens up alone by the occupation numerous possibilities for arrangements, yet the band is committed mainly to danceable. In addition to original songs by Jonas Mielke and Anna-Lucia Rupp, mozaik also play cover versions of eg Hiatus Kaiyote or Esperanza Spalding. These young musicians have inspired them for their own songs.
The other musical influences of the band members are deeply rooted in the history of music and could hardly be more different - Classic, Beatles, the early Genesis. Despite these differences, the sextet has quickly found each other and they are trying to find their own typical sound.

Songs originate from miniatures, organic keyboard sounds become jazzy located sound surfaces which combine with explosive drumming, accentuated bass and vibrant brass and vocal melodies .

Tra Cee, born in Chicago and now living in Indiana and raising a beautiful family, has been singing since she could speak, winning her first talent show at the age of 6 singing Love Come Down by Evelyn Champagne King. In high school "Tra Cee" met Cabrina D. Smith aka "Mz Lady", now her label mate, and they formed a group called The Players where they danced and rapped. At 17 years old Tra Cee filmed her first music video at Great America, covering Janet Jacksons' "Control". Today Tra Cee is still singing, writing, and recording her own songs. Along side life-long best friend Mz Lady, Tra Cee is not only an artist on the Terror Records label, she is also the COO of the label and has held this position since October of 2013. With two song placements on "Reign of Terror" TR's first MixTape, Tra Cee's popularity is growing quickly. While making music Tra Cee's most influential artists are Patti LaBelle, Erykah Badu, Stephanie Mills, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Peabo Bryson, Chaka Khan, and Anita Baker. With family and church being a huge part of her life Tra Cee also practices music in the church, she is on the praise and worship team as well as being a choir director. Tra Cee released her first single Favorite Song in April 2016 and the Terror Records Family will be providing the support for a successful and beautiful album.

Introduction:

The reason I make music is that music lives in me and it has to get out. Since I started playing I've been making my own music.

So I'm a 36 years old guitarist from Espoo, Finland. I've been playing guitar for 26 years and I also sing, play drums and piano.
I work as guitar, piano and drum teacher, touring and recording session musician.
I've played over on 10 albums and I've also made a solo album. I've been touring in Europe and China promoting my music and my 2nd solo album is being made at the moment.

 I was born in 1981 in Helsinki, Finland. I started playing guitar at the age of 10. From the early age I was strongly interested in music. I also played piano and drums but guitar was the most appealing instrument to me.

The early days were spent with heavy practicing and learning everything about guitar. I studied several years in pop/jazz conservatory in Helsinki and finally entered the Stadia, Polytechnics in Helsinki from where I graduated as a guitar pedagogy.

I have also always played in several bands and been the main composer in most of them. I have released about 10 albums to this day and more is to come.

My main influences are John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Shawn Lane, Guthrie Govan, Andy James, Rusty Cooley, Pat Metheny, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Paul Wardingham, Jeff Loomis, Paul Gilbert and so on. Even tough these guys are mainly metal oriented players, I enjoy listening and playing everything from classical to jazz.

My musical style could be described as progressive and technical metal. But even though I’m a big fan of guitar solos I pay a lot of attention to riffs and rhythm parts also. And yet I spend most of my time practicing technique, when it comes to composing the music comes always first. The solos are the last part when building a song.

Bad-ass guitar player by night I now have a home studio and have collaborated with a number of musicians around the world on collaborative covers

Started playing guitar in grade 9 because I wanted to be able to play Stairway to Heaven. Played with several unsuccessful bands through the late 70's and early 80's. Eventually met someone I could work with at writing tunes after one failed band and we penned about 100 songs. Selected 6 for recording at Ocean Sound Studios. The first 5 are available here, the 6th was never completed because by beloved '79 Gibson Les Paul was stolen after a session. I quit music completely at that point. In the late 90's I started to play with computer music and then in 2013 I finally picked up another guitar. I now have a home studio and have collaborated with a number of musicians around the world on collaborative covers.

Singer, songwriter and keyboardist Tracy Colletto earned an “Honorable Mention” in the John Lennon International Songwriting Contest for her song "The Promise", and early praise for Chocolate Happy Cake includes the singles “It’s Over,” “Complete Peace” and "Stay" being voted into the Top 20 Indie Songs, and the album garnering global radio station rotation, including terrestrial stations WXPN (Sleepy Hollow) and WSTW (Hometown Heroes). In addition, Tracy’s single, “The Ride,” is a recent nominee for Best Alt. Country Song at the 15th Annual Independent Music Awards.  Other recent accolades include being nominated for "Best Indie Female Artist" by Radio-Wigwam in the UK out of thousands of other contestants; being a finalist in the Musikarmageddon Solo competition; and being “First Runner Up” at the Triad Music Fest Songwriter Standoff. Chocolate Happy Cake was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Glenn Barratt. Glenn assembled the lineup of musicians, including Michael G Ronstadt (of Ronstadt Generations), well-known Philly bass player Chico Huff, and Erik Johnson and Kevin Hansen, both formerly of the charting modern rock band, Huffamoose (“Wait”). The entire cast performed with sensitive intuition, respecting Tracy’s vision for the album, and providing delicate and emotionally dynamic musical support.

Introduction:

Matt is a singer-songwriter from Somerset. Matt begun playing guitar by the age of 11, shortly before discovering his song writing talents, aged just 15. Based in Plymouth for the last few years, Matt felt it was time to start his journey to show his works to the world.

The musician has finished recording his debut E.P. ‘The Bird & The Tree’ which consists of four tracks that have been written over the last few years.

2016 has been a huge year for Matt so far with supporting the likes of Phat Bollard, Lucy Spraggan, Haunt The Woods and more to come including Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Craig David. Matt is putting his heart and soul into 2016 and hoping to gain more recognition after being played on BBC introducing Devon in April.

The musician’s view on his music and his life is a simple, but rather a philosophical one.

Introduction:

House of Amber is a band created by three producers, brothers Nathan and Tyson Gee and David White. All three attended the same school in the town of Rotherham in South Yorkshire. From the mid 1990s they started their first band together called Krud and cut their teeth on the local music scene. David left to work on the road as a technician and has worked with acts such as Noel Gallagher, Biffy Clyro and Jeff Lynne’s ELO.

Nathan and Tyson continued to hone their vocal and writing skills and Krud eventually matured from a grunge outfit to a more refined and experimental act Leon, with the trademark vocal harmonies of Nathan and Tyson at the forefront and playing shows with bands such as Snow Patrol 
After the dissolution of Leon, Nathan and Tyson reconnected with David who had begun songwriting newer more mature material than their Krud days and Nathan and Tyson’s vocal styles simply slotted into place. Since then the studio project which eventually became House of Amber has grown from strength to strength and has gained many fans worldwide.

In 2012 the debut album Under Pale Stars (as all subsequent releases) was self recorded and released. In 2014 Nathan and Tyson also started a side project called Icarus’s Sons which some material was later used for House of Amber. 2016 saw the single Ride published by US label Moozikoo. In early 2017 the Citadel Smith EP was released by the band with the new track Citadel Smith penned by Tyson and an older track Revo as the B- Side. In 2017 the band also released the single Ghosts on Chairs and re-mixed and remastered the debut album Under Pale Stars with extra track Mars included.

In August 2017 House of Amber were nominated for best alternative/indie act and best single for Ride on Radio WigWam’s online radio awards with the band taking home the trophy for best alternative/indie act.

The future for House of Amber is a new EP called Embers by the end of 2017 and a new album for 2018. The band also strive to produce new music every month to release to the public. House of Amber is also to be a featured artist on the ReverbNation home page in February 2018.

Peggy, who is known for her instrumental ensembles, has worked extensively with Veda Hille, Robin Holcomb, Wayne Horvitz and Mary Margaret O'hara.   

The album is a fiercely original and intimate experience that combines jazz, indie pop and folk roots to find a sum that is greater than its parts. Seductive grooves resonate with soul and intermingle as lush horn arrangements form a complex idiosyncratic counterpoint, casting dark shadows and vibrant light sometimes simultaneously.

The Sands is a rare confluence of Western Canada's foremost players from the jazz and indie scene including JP Carter (Inhabitants, Destroyer, Dan Mangan), Paul Rigby (Neko Case, AC Newman), Cole Schmidt (Pugs and Crows), Darren Parris (Frazey Ford) and Barry Mirochnik ( Neko Case, Veda Hille).

Beast to Bone features the dynamic songwriting team Peggy Lee and Julie McGeer and is produced by the ever-innovative, Polaris prize winner Jesse Zubot (Tanya Tagaq) , a known catalyst for powerful musical experimentation across Canada. Collectively, the ensemble comprises over a hundred years of musical experience -- a vintage imbedded in the music.

It all starts with an idea. Marillyn was started by a girl in Boston, MA who wanted the perfect image to represent her music. She wanted the listener to not only be brought into another world when listening to her music, but to have a leader in this world that she has created. Marillyn works to not only represent women in music, but equality among people. She wants to bring people together whether they be black, white, straight gay, male or female. In the past she started out with releasing a demo song and music video for her single What Has This World Come To.
