Free jazz/improvised music/avant-garde band from Croatia, read my review on chatsong. Listen to their music, give likes and comments beneath the reviews.

An ensemble created by multiinstrumentalists Luka Peršić and Jerko Valdevit in 1996.,
in Zagreb, Croatia. Together with bass player Dejan Potkonjak and percussionist Borna
Šercar, they formed a quartet that plays and nurtures original improvised music, based
on European avant-garde and Afro-American free jazz roots. Musical strength of the band members along with the flexible personnel conception enables them to perform at concerts in solo, duo, trio, quartet and quintet formations, last one regarding the addition of a young cello player Jasen Chelfi (who can be heard on their second CD "Plays the most requested songs").

Since its first performance (at Radio 101, Zagreb), band played several significant
festivals in Alpes-Adriatic region and by playing their first concert at KSET (student
club), they opened a series of jazz concerts there. Being the only Croatian avant-garde
jazz band and holding concerts there led to educating local auditorium and putting free
jazz in the center of KSET's program conception which further led to organizing
concerts of a eminent jazz figures such as Ken Vandermark, Mark Dresser, late
Werner Ludi, Peter Broetzmann, just to mention a few.

Their performances at festivals in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Italy included some
sessions with Anthony Coleman and his musicians, Bela Marias (Hungarian
multiinstrumentalist and poet) and Charles Gayle.
Recently, they won the Akademia award for the best jazz/funk song in September
2015. and are promoted through numerous internet radio stations throughout the

Above you can read on their sound cloud account their biography, these artists has also made a video with another artist who I will later review. Then now my review about this music band from Croatia. The first song begins with beautiful wind instruments I think, it is unique. Beautiful instruments in the songs it is unique to listen, the instruments in the songs tell a story. Normally the lyrics do and a singer but now if you listen close enough you hear the instruments speaking. I like jazz music a lot whether they sing or just use wind instruments, it is musically very lovely to enjoy. They play very well those instruments, it is outstanding and I noticed a lot of technical experiences in playing the instruments. Find it so special and musical this has to be heard around the world. Do you like this do you find this unique, let the unsigned artist now by vote up or down and giving comment beneath the review.
