"They call it Haze pop that is to me a new kind of music genre, the song called Wholesale Slaughter there you can hear how good  the vocals are I really like it. The way how they sing it, I find this very cool and a refreshing kind of music. The song called Made of Fire is very beautiful  lots of nice tunes' en melodies in it, this is really musically talent"

Introduction:

In short we're 4 guys and 2 girls from Melbourne, Australia
Half the band had played together is previous outfits spanning everything from indiepop, math-rock through to poorly executed Klezmer-folk. The other half we literally found in airports and on the internet. Given randomly sampling from the general public

as a basis for forming an artistic collaboration is generally a recipe for disaster, we were pleasantly surprised to find this approach actually worked.
Common influence amongst the band include Sarah Lipstate (Noveller), English artist Jonathan Fisher and Sydney based pianist Sophie Hutchings. Historically our influences have come from any number of 4AD (Cocteau Twins, Pixies) and Creation bands (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Slowdive). In terms of cumulative influence however, nothing goes past New Zealand’s Flying Nun label (The Bats, The Chills, The Clean, Look Blue Go Purple).
